Life Church – New Church Celebration

As we are expected to complete the purchase of the Birchwood Methodist Church towards the end of March, we are holding our New Church Celebration on Saturday 11th April 2.00pm to 3.30, followed by drinks and a light buffet.

We would be really honoured if you are able to come and join with us as we celebrate our finally obtaining a home for Life Church. During the service we will be acknowledging our roots and the fact that we are privileged in being able to follow in the footsteps of our Methodist brothers, serving The Lord from this building into our local community .

As soon as you are able could you please confirm if you are able to attend.

Learning Communities Weekly Timetable

Please note Learning Communities will be closing early on Monday 9th March. The centre will be open from 08.30 to 12.45. Mondays Woody’s wellbeing coffee morning is still on, and it would be lovely to see you! Friday is the big ‘cake off’ where members of staff are each baking a cake and then slices will be sold for Red Nose Day. Expect some fantastic cakes!

Lincolnshire All Age Autism Strategy Launch & World Autism Awareness Day

On 2nd April it is World Autism Awareness Day, the Lincolnshire All Age Autism Strategy will be formally launched. As part of the launch day event, we would like to showcase the creativity of people with autism. We need 10 people with ASD or Aspergers who are able to attend 4 sessions at the Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough or at the South Holland Arts Centre, Spalding to sign up for these sessions and create a piece of music to be showcased at the launch event. Learning Communities Weekly Timetable – week commencing 2nd March

Have a look at what’s going on at Learning Communities next week. We have Woody’s Wellbeing sessions including the craft session on a Wednesday which this week is ‘learn how to patchwork’. We have photocopying facilities. Computers that you can use for free!! Why not pop in and see us there’s something for everyone.

Voluntary Centre Services Lincoln – Opportunities available in March

Volunteers needed!! There are lots of reasons why people volunteer….bored with your current job? Got spare time to fill? Recently retired? Are you a student looking for work experience? By volunteering you can learn new skills. Meet new people. Do something your passionate about. There are one day volunteers needed for 10k road race or other opportunities like working as an admin support for the criminal justice unit.
